Bridging the Gap: Casa Capace and Brightlight's Collaborative Efforts in Disability Housing

Brightlight is thrilled to announce the opening of a purpose-built disability housing project in Ballina, funded by our Disability Housing Fund. Casa Capace, the organisation behind this venture, has created a forever home for residents living with disabilities, including 29-year-old Makita. The customisable, specialist accommodation addresses a variety of needs, such as ceiling hoists and automated window systems, offering independence and round-the-clock support. This Ballina project marks Casa Capace's 15th home, with more in the pipeline, bolstering the community by creating 20 new jobs.
